FOR ROBBING CAPITAL ONE BANK

DALLAS,
Texas — Convicted bank robber, Ronald Wayne Lee, 44, of Dallas, was sentenced yesterday by U.S. District Judge Sam A. Lindsay to 96 months in federal prison, the upper end of the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines, for robbing a Capital One Bank in Dallas on March 23, 2011. The announcement was made today by U.S. Attorney James T. Jacks of the Northern District of Texas.

Lee pleaded guilty to one count of bank robbery in June 2011, admitting that he robbed the bank, located at 9728 Greenville Avenue, in Dallas, on March 23, 2011. He was arrested by officers with the Dallas Police Department shortly after the robbery, and has been in custody since that time.

The case was investigated by the FBI and the Dallas Police Department. Assistant U.S. Attorney Phelesa Guy was in charge of the prosecution.
